Fashion Skills Holiday Workshop at Otago Polytech

School of Design  two-day, hands-on workshop where you will explore sustainable fashion making in a creative and fun environment, using up-cycled fabrics and leather to create your own bag.

Open to years 11, 12,13.

09-10 July

STAR funded but travel and accommodation at your expense.

Innovative Young Minds July Holiday Programmes

In 2019, there will be two sessions of the IYM programme during the July school holidays. Session 1 will run from 7th – 12th July and Session 2 will be held from 14th – 19th July. Students can indicate a preference for either session 1 or 2 and the best will be done to accommodate requests where possible.

Programme Incubator

Available for Year 12 and 13 students who are interested in Health careers.

Three two hour visits to the Hastings DHB to listen to employees speaking about what their job entails and the pathways that they took to get where they are today. Some sessions include interactive activities. There are question and answer opportunities for each speaker.
